Posted December 17, 200915 yr comment_303516 Hey everyone! I've actually had my '73 240Z since August '07 but I just recently decided to check out this site. I'm in the middle of doing a partial re-restoration of my car, as well as swapping in an L28ET engine with a custom-fit Z32 5 speed. I hope to also make use of the freshly-rebuilt triple Weber DCOE's from my current engine for a blow-through turbo setup :classic: Please check out my FS thread; I've just parted out an '83 ZX Turbo and I've got everything up for sale except the engine itself! Here's a couple pics of my car: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/34161-howdy-from-ma-not-so-new-z-owner/ Share on other sites

December 17, 200915 yr comment_303548 Welcome! Clean car! A blow through triple carb setup sounds pretty ambitious. I have seen blow-thru info on HybridZ (if you aren't already a member). I like this forum and hybridz for my help. Be sure to search hybridz before posting questions... there are quite a few very large threads that will have more than you ever wanted to know about some topics Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/34161-howdy-from-ma-not-so-new-z-owner/#findComment-303548 Share on other sites
December 22, 200915 yr Author comment_303946 It's actually British Racing Green or something thereabouts... I'm mainly on HybridZ, which is why I rarely get on here or zcar.com. Yeah I know it's pretty ambitious but I really want to do something uncommon. I was dead-set on an RB26 swap but it just seems like a cop-out, . December 23, 200915 yr comment_304019 Awesome, I like the idea of the carb'ed turbo. It definitely has an old school cool touch. I'd hardly call an RB26 a cop out... that's still a pretty involved swap Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/34161-howdy-from-ma-not-so-new-z-owner/#findComment-304019 Share on other sites

December 23, 200915 yr comment_304041 Good to see another Southeastern MA Z owner. Not too many of us New Englanders on here. I'd love to check out the car in person when we get them back on the road in a few months. December 24, 200915 yr comment_304070 Sweet ride I'm also doing a turbo swap in the 260. If I can't drive it in 2' of snow the next best thing is wrenchin.Aaron71 240z (1/71)74 260Z (turbo project) Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/34161-howdy-from-ma-not-so-new-z-owner/#findComment-304070 Share on other sites
December 29, 200915 yr Author comment_304532 Sweet deal! We all ought to go to some ZCCNE meets this year; I hate being the only one around with a Z car, . My group of friends' cars consists of 2 Miatas, 3 Imprezas, 3 RX-7's, 3 MR2's, and 752,479 240SX's, but no Z cars! December 30, 200915 yr comment_304563 Hi Corey, welcome to this site. There are more Z cars in New England than you might think. Glad to hear you plan to come to our ZCCNE events this year. Keep an eye on our website. We are planning our first winter meeting which should take place sometime in January.
