Takara Tomy Mini RC Cars

Every now and then I search the internet for RC Z cars. This particular search included the term LEGO because I'd love to make a Z out of them, but that's a different matter...

Anyway, I came across this site and figured I'd share (surprised it's not been mentioned before-or if it has, it didn't show up in the search)

If you poke around the site, there are a fair number of Nissan products, and they all look pretty darn cool if you ask me (but you didn't. Still, I'm telling you they look pretty cool).

Just figured if you were looking for a neat little gift for someone, well you get the idea.

These came out about 5 years ago. They are built on "CHoro-Q" chasis. I bought some S30Z, Z32, GTR Hakosuka, and Celica GT. They are about $10-15 in Japan, and some of them come in a set. Good part is that you can play with it on a small table, and it goes on "turbo dash speed" when you press top bottom. Cons are botton batteries are farely expensive and the "laser" has to point at the car all the time to control it, which does not reach more than 3 -4 feet.
