Sparx Macgyver Posted December 23, 2009 Share #1 Posted December 23, 2009 Well, bought my Z today. Currently sitting at my uncles house, waiting for me to come back tomorrow. Here's a few shots of it. Not the best, but ill take more tomorrow. Can't wait to bring this gal home and show her her new home. By the way, she's a 1976 280Z 2+2. Sparx Macgyver Posted December 23, 2009 Author Share #5 Posted December 23, 2009 Thank you all very much. Like I said, I can't wait to start playing. I'm hopeing I can move her (don't know why but the car strikes me as a female personality) down to my house so I can be able to work on her daily.Again, I'll take more pics here soon today and upload them when I do. I haven't gone through the entire vehicle, but I did find an entire brand new rear quarter window with trim on it.So, I'm off to go to my new project/toy/passion/hobby/never-ending-wallet-killer. Sparx Macgyver Posted December 24, 2009 Author Share #7 Posted December 24, 2009 No, he didn't (to my knowledge) ever own a Z. I forgot to take pics today. Kinda got wrapped up in working on it to get it running again.
Sparx Macgyver Posted December 25, 2009 Author Share #8 Posted December 25, 2009 As promised here's a few more photos. I rinsed her off with the hose in an attempt to take off some of the dirt. Took some off, so she looks a bit better.
Sparx Macgyver Posted December 25, 2009 Author Share #9 Posted December 25, 2009 (edited) And just another of the gauges. With the Rims and rear louvers (spelling?), are they popular? Cause people have been trying to buy them off my uncle like crazy since I parked it at his place.. Sparx Macgyver Posted December 26, 2009 Author Share #10 Posted December 26, 2009 Yeah, just re-examined my photos there. I'll need to take better ones. Just realized there all blurry.
Sparx Macgyver Posted December 30, 2009 Author Share #11 Posted December 30, 2009 I haven't had time to fully examine them and make sure they work properly, but I think the middle 3 gauges do not work. Once work cools off a bit I'm going to go and test them. I did some searching, and found a few different sets that will fit if I needed to change them. I believe one set is Autometer, the other is Revolution. Both are nice, but does anybody make the over/under gauges? I like how there set up, and don't feel like adding pods to hold an extra gauge or two because there's not room for all of them in those spots..
