December 29, 200915 yr comment_304521 Looks like the rubber isolator on your damper is toast. If you use only one fan belt then I would go this route: http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/PEM06/10-2139 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/34254-i-need-help/#findComment-304521 Share on other sites

December 29, 200915 yr comment_304523 cant you just replace the rubber isolatorNo, the rubber isolator is vulcanized between the damper and pulley, if it even begins to separate you need to change the whole thing. December 29, 200915 yr comment_304525 The damper and pulley are considered "one part". So when the pulley starts to move you need to change the whole thing. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/34254-i-need-help/#findComment-304525 Share on other sites

There are shops that do that. It would cost less to get a used one from the 'yard but be sure you inspect it well. December 30, 200915 yr comment_304568 One thing to remember. Some engines have the timing mark set on the driver side and some on the passenger side. It you find a dampener that has the pointer on a different side form you engine , be sure to get the pointer that matches that pulley.
