What is the problem with the electric pump? Did you replace the filter that is inside the pump?

Is it the stock pump for a '73 or did someone replace the mechanical pump with electric?

Or perhaps you need a fuel pressure regulator to control the pressure going to the carbs.

Facet sells an all but identical pump to the one from NISMO - shop the Web for the best price.

Facet Part FEP60SV - you can buy replacement filters FEP 42370.

Should be around $85.00... I've used them for years...

Carl, I have a FEP60SV Facet in the back of my '73 running as a feed for the mechanical. When you run the Facet pump as the only pump, do you close / clamp off the return line? I'd like to eliminate the mechanical pump but was hesitant to block the return line

By the way, the Facet is a very quiet pump, just a faint thunk noise from the back while it's pumping. The first one I had was burned up when my voltage regulator failed but it was an unbranded Facet. It was labeled a Purolator, and was much cheaper than the Facet branded pump. Both were Made in USA surprisingly enough. I believe Facet is owned by Purolator now. My friend's tell me Facet's were the pumps to have back in the day when they were running their 510's and 18RG Celica's.
