please help me figure out hot to hook these up correctly.

I plan on just running the supply fuel line, and no return line but i am unsure which is which?

fuel line sup?

fuel line ret?

misc fuel line?

brake booster hose?

battery neg/pos hookup to starter?

breathers?

Hard to really tell with the mods going on in there, but here's an educated guess:

1. Fuel return line

2. Fuel vapor evap. line (from rear canister)

3. Fuel supply line

4. Positive battery cable/solenoid switch/should be fusible link!

5. Brake master vac vacumn line (should be check valve also!)

6. Manifold tap for #5

7. Fuel pump relay??

Might not be exact, but I'm sure someone here will point that out!

Your fuel sup 2 picture is actually the stock fuel return line. Since you are not going to use it, just keep it plugged, but make sure your fuel pump does not overpressure the carburators because Webers are sensitive to it.

Another option is to use the stock fuel rail and change your front carb fitting to a "T", so the stock fuel rail feeds the Webers from both ends. Then you can hook up the fuel return line and it will be less likely to overpressure the carbs.

Your fuel ret picture is actually the gas tank vent line. You should leave that venting, but is is normally terminated higher on the fender.

Your fuel firewall picture is the stock fuel supply line. Make sure you clean it first because it looks dirty.

I don't know the purpose of the positive picture is. How is this related to the carb install?

The boost picture, connect the brake booster line to the 30 degree angle fitting on the manifold (breather picture).

The breather on the top of the valve cover should have a fillter on it. A K&N filter fits very nicely there. Check my Z photos for an example.

Can't tell what the relay is for in the firewall plug picture. How is this related to the carb install?

When I bought my z it was pretty much naked the motor & trans were out the interior was in box's and everything under the hood was disconnected or missing. so im just trying 2 do my home work & get everything where it goes. so thats why i was asking about the relay swich and how 2 hook up the battery cables and the starter, but this is a good start thank you for the fuel info. Any other info would be appreciated.

Okay I understand now. So in that case you have the positive battery cable on the correct terminal on the starter solenoid. The negative battery cable is usually under the starter mounting bolt (nearest bolt in your picture).

is there any place where i can get a 5/16 inlet & outlet for my mechanical fuel pump instead of the 1/4 that comes with it stock?

I'm not sure exactly what you mean... but I would suggest an electrical fuel pump for your triple webers. Some people are split on this issue, usually arguing that mechanical is fine and more reliable.

I have switched back and fourth, it's a pretty intuitive part to install/uninstall.

Great links! The Summit page doesn't quite agree with racetep on max pressure. Are you running a return line with that pump? Is it really only 4 psi?
