I got door panels that are now in quite good condition BUT passenger side panel has bended from front so its hard to install. I was thinkin that heat might have done that, cause the vinyl is ok.

So is there any nice way to bend it back? re-heat vinyl or something? I'll add pictures asap.

I'll also need good advices how to remake those brushes () that are in top of the door panels.

The vinyl is probably not the problem.

Is the hardboard backing torn around any of the holes that the mounting pins fit into? If so, the pins can't hold it against the door. This is especially noticeable in the area you're referring to.

In that case, one solution is to carefully repair the tear(s) with a fiberglass repair kit. Once the torn hardboard is firm again, the pins should hold the panel flush in place as they were designed to do.

As far as your other question, I assume you're referring to the fuzzy felt strips that cushion the door glass from the inside? If so, the easiest (as far as I know anyway) solution is to purchase replacement strips. I believe they are available from both MSA or Black Dragon.

Then you (or an upholstery shop) can remove them and either staple or rivet in the new strips. Voila, just like new again!

Ok thanks for info. There is one small crack in the front and it will be repaired. But firstly i gotta straighten up the panel somehow. It's only bended from the front corner, otherwise it's good

Dampen the cardboard where its bent,then put some weight on it till it drys.

The bend was probably caused by dampness at some time

Ok i will try that. Second thing i need to know how to restore kicking plates properly? Mine are ok but super-dirty. I need to get them bling again.

Once you have straightened the bend, you can use fiberglass resin (polyester resin) to strengthen the fiberboard as well as water proof it.

If the fiberboard of the door panels is in good shape you can paint them with Polyurethane to waterproof. This trick works crazy good especially when you seal the inner door properly with heavy mil plastic.
