Got this from an acquaintance and thought some of you guys could take advantage of it if you so choose....

Looking to get sponsored and not sure where to start?

BoostedImports.com has developed a Sponsorship Kit for those that are looking for corporate help. This kit includes a custom sponsorship proposal template that is completely formatted with built in instructions/examples. Just swap out the generic pictures and enter your information. Very easy to do and understand. Premier members get this kit for 50% off.

Below is the ebay auction for this kit. If you are interested in this kit, you can purchase it via Ebay or just send me an email. Cost is $31.99

I've had a couple of those sent to me. The single most important thing in ANY sponsorship package is detailed information on how the sponsor will make money by giving you money. Vague information about "Brand Recognition", "Number of Eyeballs", "Great Marketing Opportunity", "Automotive Lifestyle Exposure", etc. is complete BS and gets these form letters tossed in the trash.

I don't want to drag this thread down too much but it strikes a chord with me. IMO it's a sad fact that the vast majority of any grassroots sponsorship is through the vehicle entrant's own place of business, someone they know personally or are related to, or some form of a manufacturer's minuscule contingency program.
