She needs a lot more work than yours, but thanks to a life in AZ, she's avoided the corrosion problems typical of the NE where I live.Mine is supposed to be 903 Blue like yours, but was painted in the late 70s in a shade of white that will soon be gone. I'll be keeping an eye on your adventures and learning from your ideas/upgrades.AusgangNYC Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/34478-spitz17-1970-datsun-series-i-240z-project/?&page=3#findComment-307898 Share on other sites

February 8, 201015 yr comment_308922 Hi Glenn, Rick here.Love your car, she's real "purty." You had me fooled at first; when I lookedat the first pic I thought it was the #907 (British) Racing Green, which iswhat our #171 car is. Then further down, it became obvious that it wasthe #903 blue, which is what our #19851 car was. I was surprised that yours has a black interior; I had forgotten that some had black; many camewith a blue interior, which is what ours had. Thanks for sharing and enjoythe experience! All Z Best,.........................Kathy & Rick Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/34478-spitz17-1970-datsun-series-i-240z-project/?&page=3#findComment-308922 Share on other sites
February 8, 201015 yr comment_308959 Yes SPITZDefinitely a good find. The performance upgrades are slick as well. Speaking of performance, since it appears your are spending money on such a fine machine I would personally ALWAYS opt for performance over not so functional stick on body parts. The factory lines are sufficient enough so as not to warrant those horrid pseudoaerodynamic add-ons. Instead of wasting your hard earned $$$$ on that stuff put it into performence pieces so that your machine can go anywhere anytime reliably. Remember, HAPPINESS isn't just around the corner, HAPPINESS IS the CORNER.2MUCHZ Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/34478-spitz17-1970-datsun-series-i-240z-project/?&page=3#findComment-308959 Share on other sites
