Hello everyone, can anyone tell me if the fron suspension components of a '75 280 will fit my '74 260? a couple of '75s have shown up at my local pick a part and thet seem to have good parts in them, I habe already gotten some interior parts off of them, but would like to get parts from the suspension.

I believe that you would be ok on most of the suspension, fenders. Not for the doors, door panels, electrical. Watch out for the bumpers.

Hey, if the '280z' is still on the deck lid, could you snag a couple of them for me?? (use putty knife to remove w/o breaking pins!) PM me to work out $$ and details. I would REALLY appreciate it!!!

thank you guys, Arne my car has a 9/74 manufacturing date? does this make it a late production 260? and I will definetely check for the emblem and keep you posted Andrew.
That would make it a late production or '74.5' model. Here's a quote from a Nissan publication entitled "Outline Specifications-75 Models".

'

74.5 Year Model

The '74.5 is an interim model with the same engine and power train as the '74 model's. However, its external appearance, body and other equipments are the same as the '75 model. This model will be produced from September 1, 1974 until the '75 models come ito production.

The followiing are special parts used only for '74.5 models:

Fuel hose, air conditioner hose, exhause center tube, harness, fuel tank (capacity 17.2 US gal), etc..
