HELLO:) . I just got off the phone with vtoperformance.com from the latest

"Reproduction Libre style wheels" thread and lined up a option to make

Per-Spec mags, also known as Performance Specialties as seen in the

"Who has a set of these" thread, in a 16x7 size!

You can find it by using search keywords Per-Spec.

Now we can either do the normal style or the deep dish slant lip style as

seen in member Fun_N_My_Z's link in that last thread.

The price quoted was for a run of 100 wheels or 25 sets for $8,000. So thats

$320 a set or $80 per wheel. I can supply one of my Per-Spec mags for the mold and

it will be made to scale just in 16 inch size not 14.

Off set will be zero and the cool thing is the inside diameter can be upto

15 3/4 inches and I just confirmed with Arizona Z Car it will clear thier

6 piston 12.5 inch Wilwood Big Brake disc calipers!

Those only need 14.5 inches of clearance!

They will be a single piece aluminum cast wheel.

Here some file pics of the Per-Spec rims and the last pic is the

Deep Dish Slant Lip version of Fun_N_My_Z's.

Duplicates are bigger copies and more info in post #2.

My red Z, Ruby above, was running Goodyear Wingfoot 215/60/R14 in

front and ugly 225/70/14 when pic was taking.

Now running 215/60/14 on all corners currently FYI.

Now if I could get someone to make some 18" American Racing 200S in the correct offset for my GTO for a reasonable price.........

Not sure what the correct offset for a GTO is, but American Racing does sell reproductions of the 200S. They show up to 17" on their website, but it also shows a special order form, so you may be able to contact them and see if they have the size and offset you need.

Just got off the phone with vto and confirmed the wheel will be a

"single cast aluminum" piece and comes with Lugs and choice center caps.

Though I can design my own center cap disign which I just may do :);)

Taking a rim off Ruby Z to read any details or specs on the back.

That looks freakin Awesome !

Will load up my new rim pics tommorow.

What the Primer or the Wheels...LOL, I think it was the size of the tires on the wheels (fairly skinny). I like the 5 slots (kinda done to death though on Z's) like the Shelby Cal 500's, I'd love to find a set of American Racing Libre's (woah!)

--Then again I always was a fan of The Dukes of Hazzard... what do you think.. "The General Zee". I have this one I need 3 more...

And here it is now next to my dads blue 260 with the Shelby Cal 500's...

LOL your crazy P, the primer OFcourse :) ! My mechanic had 3 of those Shelby 500's on his Z fore he sold it. Someone stole the 4th wheel out his dads shop in Freseno, CA. They are slightly different than the AR Vector wheels on the General Lee. General Zee for sure :) . I have a spare unmarked Vector and laid it next to the Shelby's before that Z was sold and you can see they differ. Go to Zparts.com, a shop in Oregon or Washington state, they have 3 of those Vetors for you :)

By the way, what is it with these unmarked wheels? Jacked up Ruby and took off a Per-Spec and there was nothing on it. Not even the rim size.
Not at all unusual for US-made mags in the early '70s. Some big name companies would cast their name in the back (American Racing, Shelby, US Mag, etc.), but the smaller companies almost never did. And there were no requirements for size, specs or any of those kind of markings in the USA back then.

It's probably worth mentioning here that - like many of these wheel styles back in those days - this style was made by more than one company. Same with Libres, turbines, slots, etc. As evidence, we've seen this style with different lip shapes, and both screw-on and push-in caps.

So the fact that yours have no casting marks in the back while Goose's actually say 'P/S' tells me that yours are P/S clones.

FWIW...

GOOSE- where was your markings stamped at? ARNE- don't doubt that is true at all, that said I don't see a design difference compared to the othere rims. Is there one i'm not seeing? IF not i'll use mine for the mold, if there is a difference i'll find a genuin PS when the time comes.

On the back side on the main wheel section (not on the spokes or the center seating surface or on the lip). I just checked and I only have that cropped photo - not the uncropped original. And, those mags were sold so I can't go look. I've attached the "for sale" photo that shows all 4 of the mags and the center caps FWIW.

Mine is on the backside of a spoke... "P-S" stamped, but no rim size???

(Oh and that Vector is a American Racing Vector...)

That group photo is nice Goose, look like shiny little ninja stars :) . I would bought those then but was busy buying other little stuff at the time, like house rent LOL! And P those Vectors at Zparts are the American Racing ones if thats what you mean. Will take my wheel off and have a look again just in case. Thanks guys :)
