So Microsoft, Turn 10 Studios, and Jalopnik have teamed up to allow Jalopnik readers to choose which cars will be included in a new downloadable pack for Turn 10's racing hit Forza Racing 3 for the Xbox360.

Follow this link to vote for the 240Z during todays first round of voting! (You can choose 10 of the 20 cars listed)

While I disagree vehemently with the description, these guys make a great game and having a 240 in it would be awesome.

I'll update this thread when Round Two of voting begins.

"1970 Datsun 240Z

Sure, it's a bit truckish and relatively uninspiring to drive, but it's also one of the most capable sports cars of the 1970s. A torquey six lives under that long snout, and while it's no high-rpm screamer, it's still strong enough to get the job done."

What does he mean by truckish, that's one of the last words I'd use to describe a 240z. (And technically it isn't even a word.)

So the author calls the 1970 Corolla a "it was as fun as it was thrifty." but a 240z is uninspiring?

I voted! I was surprised at how they described the 240Z. I've never had the opportunity to drive one. How would you describe what the Z is like to drive? I've been meaning to ask! One claimed the back end was rather lively and that he used to power-slide them, but that's as far as I got.

Oh yeah I remember that :) haha, lucky dog! Was the author a worker on the game or just some dude who drove or rode in a buddies rust belt Z not firing on all cylinders and assumed they were all like that? I was getting beat by grandmas in Buiclks till i got the engine fixed, was runnin on less than half the power. NOW it's one of the fastest, sickest handling Sports Cars I've ever drove!

I spend more time on Forza 3 making graphics and designs on the cars than I do racing. It would be great to see a 240Z in game to create our own true to life Z cars. Here is my #46 John Morton BRE Datsun on the '69 432 (If you have the game and would like this let me know I'll send it to you free) I am also working on a #11 East African Safari Z (should have it done tonight!)

Hey buddy, I just finished the same paint job, but yours is just a hair better than mine. You did a much better job on the font on the numbers. I did choose the same wheels though haha, they are the closest thing to the 4 spoke ones I could find. What I am the most impressed with is your ability to take the picture. I have not explored that in forza 3 yet. VERY nice lighting.

Anyway..

my user name is: relentlesleming

I would LOVE to see your car. I will send you mine if you like and we can compare notes. I have her tuned into a pretty respectable D class car now. She is a joy to drive and push hard. If you do mostly graphics, maybe you will like my setup, its pretty tweaked. I do not want to go higher than C class with her though. Want to keep the original engine and not make her unrealistically fast.

Yeah sure, my gamertag is Pleiner87, I have not tuned the car at all... yet. Making the 46 text as close as I could took for ever. Here is the #11 EAS Z, im still not 100% happy with some of the text but ill deal with that later.

I had seen someone with the #5 Rally car that was amazing, if you look through the photo storefront you can see his car and he also has graphics for sale.
