I have recently upgraded my PC (to a P4, 2.53), OS (to XP home) and Adobe Acrobat (to v.5) and when looking at the Z-Car CD the fiche images do not fill the whole screen and you can see the top of the next fiche in the same screen. This did not happen with my old set up. I have tried reducing my screen resolution but it makes no difference.

As I would rather not down grade to ver. 4 of Acrobat which I suspect is where the problems lie does anyone know if there is a setting in Acrobat that fixes this, I have looked but can't see anything.

This is not of earth shattering importance, I will live with it if I have to but it would be nice to have it fixed.

did you say 2.53 Ghz?

Arrrrr and I thought my new 2.4Ghz would be too much! (by the way I chose that number for a reason guys )

Nigel, I found out some more info about this.... It appears that Acrobat 5 works a little differently than Acrobat 4. It has nothing to do with resolution. It's a page-view setting.

I've seen similar issues with Acrobat 5 for Windows.

Nigel:

At the bottom of the screen, in the Adobe Toolbar area, just to the left of the horizontal scroll, you should see a button with an icon depicting either a single sheet of paper, two side by side or two top and bottom.

Left click on this button, a menu appears, select single page and that should eliminate the "extra" bit of the next page.

To enlarge just click on the magnification button or on the percentage indicator on the tool bar.
