Hey Kirk,

Happy to have ya there. We'll be bringing BOTH Z's (green and red) but we'll show up at the fairgrounds on Sat at about 4 or 5pm. If we're up early enough, we may head over to the rest-stop to ride in with everyone else like usual.

Had to pull the webers and reinstal the SU's onto the green Z, then reinstal the shiney SU's back onto the red Z so we'll both have dependable rides and Gas milage. Webers need a rebuild so there not coming with us.

I was wondering about the ride in from the rest stop too as far as if it is going to happen and when and where. In past years I've followed Gary and Roger in but Gary isn't going this year and Roger might make it Sunday. I'm fine with meeting at the rest stop again, even if its earlier, if its going to happen. Is there any definitive word from anyone that will we indeed meet there again on Sunday AM before getting to the show, or is it a no go this year?

Greg Greg Greg, Read much? Read the thread then ask questions. LOL

YES! People will still be at the rest stop this year. Just as I explained on the phone. It's still the rest stop after 282 South Bound on I-5.

Be there between 9:00 and 9:30 on Sunday, as we like to leave around 9:30 to 9:45. Typically.

Just just show up between 8:45 and 9:15 to be safe.

I'm not going to be able to come to this, with or without the Z. Kinda bummed. I have a trip to Portland scheduled the same time and it's with a group and there's no "let's make a stop in Canby for Pril" on the rented van itinerary.

Catch y'all next year, though.

I don't think there will be anyone at the rest stop on Saturday. That's generally a Sunday thing.

At this point it doesn't look like I will be making the rest stop on Sunday this year. Got some family things to deal with, will probably be coming in the back roads instead. See you all there, though.

As a reminder for all those SU Carb guys who'd like to see a new set of ZTHERAPY ZT carbs being installed and tuned on a 240Z.....

Bruce or Steve at ZTherapy will be at the Fairgrounds in Canby, doing the above to my red 70' 240Z on Sunday, most likely. Or Saturday, not real 100% sure yet.

Should be very educational for those who'd like to see it done.

Hell, I'm giddy already. Got a rebuilt motor in there just Waiting for a Beautiful set of New and Shiney ZT Carbs from the great guys as ZTherapy.

(This is me kissin up)

Thanks for the clarification on the rest stop meet Arne, reading the posts it looked like there would be a meet up on both days. Thats fine I originally wanted to come in on the backroads as well.

Dave, meeting Bruce from ZT was on my list of things to do there, I am going to miss your install if happens on Sun though, I have other commitments that day.

So...IMHO...BEST YEAR EVER!

There were beautiful cars, in-progress cars, daily drivers, and some

very interesting ones that defy description.

The food vendor was great this year. They set up early so we could get

coffee and breakfast while we were setting up early each morning.

One of the best parts was how so many people really stepped up and

volunteered to help with T-shirt sales, registration, and gate.

There were many people from way out of the area including Arizona and

Colorado. British Columbia was well represented by people from New

Westminster, Vancouver, Victoria, and White Rock. We had Californians

from Chico, Huntington Beach, Oroville, and Penn Valley. We had someone

from Nampa, Idaho and lots of people from all over Oregon and

Washington.

I have video of the autocross on Friday and some of the show in addition

to the stills. I'll post stuff on DatsunsnNW.org later this week and let

you know ...right now...I'm too tired to do much.

Thanks again all of you who made the trip. What an AWESOME time!
