Who else is SNOWED IN?

Our cul-de-sac just got plowed last night, took out my mailbox, too. Amazing how quickly you start to feel a little trapped without the ability to get out - only 2 1/2 days. And once again, I'm still lucky as my electric has stayed on, some 100k homes in our county were without, and still about 40k still waiting. Expecting 6-12+inches thru tomorrow.

This morning "Footsforecast" is predicting 22.5 inches by late Wednesday night.

Pretty soon if this snow doesn't stop you will find me taking apart my mint cards of hotwheels to play with them. I miss driving my Zs!!!:stupid:

Wow, at least we are going to be part of history!! :ermm:

I welcome snow....for some reason it keeps going North or South of me this year. I say, "Snow big, or get out of the way and let the Summer in." Hoping for at least 12" tonight and tomorrow!!

I see it on the mountians near the house now...

That's a 45 minute drive for me, I guess I'll wait till it's gone.

Today I used the tractor to move dirt around the back yard.

That's what tractors are meant for...in sane climates at least!

"What is this 'snow' of which you speak?" Muahahahaha!

Two days ago I had to have tractor move a drift in front of my garage, 5 ft tall, so my wife could get her car out of the garage. We had snow Friday and Saturday with another storm rolling through Monday for a 3-5 more inches. I bet we have not had any meltage in over 2 weeks now with snow everywhere. I was out last night celebrating Valentines Day with my wife and the sidewalks were getting plowed at 9:30pm, and yep, it was still snowing.

  • 2 weeks later...

Wow we got hammered. Wet sticky heavy snow took down tons of trees, which blocked half of all roads and took out power to a few hundred thousand homes. We lost power for three days. Luckily, no trees hit our house, we had a generator, and a wood stove.

Here is my back yard after the second day of snow. The shed contains my 1976 Turbo 280Z.
