Kind of reminds me of sblake01's old truck and supposedly only has 41k miles.

So, let's see, that's an average of under 900 miles per year over the last 46 years. I'd have to call 2n8tx15.gif on that claim. As near as we can figure based on some records and discussions with three previous owners, my 64 L320 had over 600k miles and it could be over 700k.

There are some out there with low miles. Mine was bought as a farm truck in 1964. It has just under 40K miles. How do I know this? 46 years later and it is still our farm truck. Original paint, chrome, etc. The only modification is a spray in bedliner from about 10 years ago, mainly for grip..

That is actually higher than what they usually sell for. They have been stuck in the $3500 range for a few years. It is one of the reasons you don't see many on the East Coast, buy a truck for $3500 and pay $1500 to ship it and it is worth $3500.....

I drove mine up to Watkins Glen NY a few years ago instead of a Roadster. Long trip when the truck maxes out at about 50 MPH...

I had a 3.889 rear end from a 1600 roadster, a 5 speed from a S10 200SX, and a J16 with a single Weber side draft in mine. It would cruise easily on the highway. I sold mine for $3500 which is about twice what I had in it.

Yeah, I agree, Stephen, it's a really low per-year average and very unusual.

But not impossible, as our #171 Z has 28700 miles (about 718 per year). My

Uncle Ray bought a totally original '50 Mercury coupe with 28000 miles on it

from an estate about 10 years ago, which is even more dramatic.

All Z Best,....................................Kathy & Rick
