Posted February 14, 201015 yr comment_309670 So this past weekend I finally got around to installing the mirrors that I bought for the Z. I must say the install was fairly straight forward and really didn't take more than half an hour. I spent more time taking the old mirror out then putting the two new mirrors on. I must say it is really strange to look over to the passenger's side and see a mirror there now. It helps to see if there's anyone thee but it is still strange. Here are some pics of the mirrors. February 14, 201015 yr comment_309672 Nice look. Are they "after market" or off another car? I know what you mean about looking to the right and not having a mirror. I've often thought of adding new dual mirrors to my '71.Dennis Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/34761-added-some-mirrors/#findComment-309672 Share on other sites
February 14, 201015 yr Author comment_309676 Those are actually aftermarket mirrors. I received them with the car when I bought them. They were bought at NAPA or another parts store, I'm not positive which one but I've seen them at checker's (O'Reily's) in the past. February 15, 201015 yr Author comment_309688 The headlights I got from autopartswarehouse. They're made by a company called RAMPAGE. They're basically plug and play H4 conversions. They work great I'm really happy with them. Jan Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/34761-added-some-mirrors/#findComment-309688 Share on other sites
February 15, 201015 yr comment_309714 Sweet look . Always clean your Z is. If you find them coming loose take them off then use a little super glue on the base plate to car body screws. Worked for my MSA sport mirrors, now they no longer shake or come loose overtime from adjusting them. And makes stripped threads in the thin door skin a non issue .
