We (the shop) has misplaced the door handle linkage that activates opening the door from the outside. I have looked every where for that small linkage piece but can't seem to find it. Any ideas on who may carry it.

Also, I tried unsuccesfully to atttach the one linkage I do have but could never get it installed. Surley I don't have to remove the window to get the rubber stop into the hole......(does that make sense). If I attach the linkage to the handle first it's too long to get it to go into the receiver end. If I try after the handle is installed I can't get it to push into the handle end.....

Any help would be appreciated.

For refrence here is a picture, I need the part the red arrow is pointing to.

I've got a couple laying around as the 260Z now has shaved door handles and the rod is obsolete.

You need small hands to get up there and attach the rod to the handle. Try backing the plastic nut upwards toward the middle of the rod, then slide it into the hole, attach the rod to the handle, then turn the plastic nut back down, testing the handle every few turns.

I haven't tried Roger at Z barn yet, he's hard to get hold of and meet up to get the parts.

Randy, I have one it is from a 1970 Passanger door. Will that work?

I'm driving over to see Roger in the next week or so to pick up a couple of parts (I'm over in Boone NC). If you can not find your parts, while I'm at Rogers I can grab what you need and then we can meet on my way out of town. Roger works by appointment and he and I have already discussed my needs.
