FYI, Popular Science has just put it's entire 137 year archive online in searchable format thanks to Google Books! This means literally hundreds of period car ads from the last century are available for discovery.

I just did a quick search for 'Datsun' and turned up these:

Still looking for 70-78 Datsun Z posters or or race Photos of the same.

BRE has several nice posters http://www.bre2.net/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=B&Category_Code=art_sub_bredatsun_posters. Other than that you just have to keep an eye out on Ebay, CL, etc., but the vintage ones are hard to find.

I have the old motorsports catalogs and they show those old posters.

I also have two posters that hang in my garage. they were both drawings that are sweet.

One is the Baja 510 poster and the other is the 240Z John Morton car on the curve. BRE has the newer update on his website - the story is as follows:

My neighbor had a 510 2 door orange he bought new since his wife worked at one of the Aurora, Illinois Datsun parts warehouses. They might have been a dealer item and he tossed them in the trash. (point is I always looked at that 510 as I walked home from school)

My dad was walking and grabbed them. they are on an 1/8" foam board and are about 24" x 30" (or so). I love them and once put them on ebay for $250 each and of course they didn't sell.

I will get some pictures when I get back in town this week. Similar to this one but not exactly and kind of like the second one
