Posted February 20, 201015 yr comment_310153 I thought it would be nice to have one thread show original vintage posters. Here are a couple I have. I plan to get the East African Safari Rally and the Frisselle posters framed. -Mike Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/34815-vintage-datsun-nissan-posters/ Share on other sites
February 20, 201015 yr Author comment_310155 Here are some pictures of other old posters that someone sent me. He sold the posters long ago. Notice the original red paint scheme on the Bob Sharp 240z in the middle picture. -Mike Edited February 20, 201015 yr by Mike B Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/34815-vintage-datsun-nissan-posters/#findComment-310155 Share on other sites

March 8, 201015 yr comment_311823 FYI, Popular Science has just put it's entire 137 year archive online in searchable format thanks to Google Books! This means literally hundreds of period car ads from the last century are available for discovery. PopSci Archives I just did a quick search for 'Datsun' and turned up these: Edited March 8, 201015 yr by JonnyRock Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/34815-vintage-datsun-nissan-posters/#findComment-311823 Share on other sites

March 10, 201015 yr Author comment_312011 Still looking for 70-78 Datsun Z posters or or race Photos of the same.BRE has several nice posters http://www.bre2.net/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=B&Category_Code=art_sub_bredatsun_posters. Other than that you just have to keep an eye out on Ebay, CL, etc., but the vintage ones are hard to find.-Mike Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/34815-vintage-datsun-nissan-posters/#findComment-312011 Share on other sites
March 10, 201015 yr comment_312024 I have the old motorsports catalogs and they show those old posters. I also have two posters that hang in my garage. they were both drawings that are sweet. One is the Baja 510 poster and the other is the 240Z John Morton car on the curve. BRE has the newer update on his website - the story is as follows: My neighbor had a 510 2 door orange he bought new since his wife worked at one of the Aurora, Illinois Datsun parts warehouses. They might have been a dealer item and he tossed them in the trash. (point is I always looked at that 510 as I walked home from school) My dad was walking and grabbed them. they are on an 1/8" foam board and are about 24" x 30" (or so). I love them and once put them on ebay for $250 each and of course they didn't sell. I will get some pictures when I get back in town this week. Similar to this one but not exactly and kind of like the second one Edited March 10, 201015 yr by pete240z Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/34815-vintage-datsun-nissan-posters/#findComment-312024 Share on other sites
