February 25, 201015 yr Author comment_310694 Wow lots of switches, relays, and logical wiring. George Orwell missed it by 9 years. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/34845-neutral-switch-in-4-speed/?&page=2#findComment-310694 Share on other sites
March 5, 201015 yr Author comment_311490 Steve, do you have any clue what the "Emergency Switch" is and where it is located? I see it on your diagram but don't know what it refers to in the car. March 5, 201015 yr comment_311515 Steve, do you have any clue what the "Emergency Switch" is and where it is located? I see it on your diagram but don't know what it refers to in the car. FYI, I drew most of my knowledge of the system straight from the FSM. The description starts on page BE-90. The switch was on the right side of the engine bay. I don't know if you'll find many unmolested examples out there since the whole system was a miserable failure. March 5, 201015 yr Author comment_311529 Thanks, I have studied factory Z manuals for hours and weeks, but I have never had a 260Z one, so all this is foreign to me. I know the 280's like the back of my hand, and I am just about done learning the 240Z's, but the 260Z is still a mystery to me. Thanks for the enlightenment.
