heres a few pics of the one area of rot on my car, whats the best way to go about patching this rot up? I have no experience with rust repair whatsoever, and as its not frame-related (triple checked rails, trunk floor and floorpans, no rust) I am willing to tackle this by myself. veteran rust repairer's please advise, thanks in advance.

Replacement panels are available. Should you use the search function you'll likely find where someone has posted the source.

Several places sell the panel. Motorsport auto for sure. Use the search function or try google to find other places that sell z car parts. I think they are about $125??? Hopefully, that is all the rust there is. Good luck.

My bad, they are 149.95 for the replacement panel.

Got to cut it out and weld in the replacement panel. If done correctly, no one will be able to tell.

Better check the rest of the car (doglegs, rockers, doors, floors) AGAIN.
