March 3, 201015 yr Author comment_311339 I agree with Bonzi Lon. Mine took about 3 ounces to fill just about an inch below gland nut.Also used some anti-sieze on that there gland nut. Won't need to pay to remove it next time... March 3, 201015 yr comment_311371 I usually push the old grease out of ball joints when I get around to that maintenance on my cars. If your new grease is a different color than the old, you will notice when you "get there". I would leave the grease that is in there for now, its pretty easy access later on when you feel that you need to re-lube, which will probably not be in our life-times! OldHemi: Just wanted to get some synthetic Mobile 1 in there instead of the petroleum based crap it came with. I will probably settle the front end in then pump out the old in a month or two.
