wbsupernatural Posted March 4, 2010 Share #26 Posted March 4, 2010 Stephen, I got my rims repainted at a local place here in Houston. The rims used to be chrome and all chipped but they refinished it to gunmetal like the G35 rims' color. I am very happy with their work. Let me know if you want to see it. and if Stephen still wants to sell his panasports, I would totally jump on it over the rotas and konig Frank. d240zx2 Posted March 4, 2010 Author Share #27 Posted March 4, 2010 I understand, believe me. But 16s are the way I've chosen to go.

Jeff G 78 Posted March 4, 2010 Share #29 Posted March 4, 2010 I have the unicorn gunmetal Panasports and love them, but I am always worried about rare wheels. If one gets damaged, I will have a heck of a time finding a replacement. :paranoid:

Jeff G 78 Posted March 4, 2010 Share #31 Posted March 4, 2010 Too bad my car doesn't deserve them yet. The wheels are by far the best looking thing about it. Someday I will have the cash for a new paintjob.
wbsupernatural Posted March 4, 2010 Share #32 Posted March 4, 2010 those panasports look sweet. Here are some picture of the rims on my car. The wheel is dirty and I'm using my cameraphone to take these so it doesn't really do it any justice. I've had these refinished for about 2 years now and it looks just like the day I brought them home after a car wash. <a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/qnlx7/0304001503.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/qnlx7/th_0304001503.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket" ></a><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/qnlx7/0304001503a.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/qnlx7/th_0304001503a.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket" ></a><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/qnlx7/0304001504.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/qnlx7/th_0304001504.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket" ></a><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/qnlx7/0304001504a.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/qnlx7/th_0304001504a.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket" ></a>

wbsupernatural Posted March 5, 2010 Share #34 Posted March 5, 2010 Frank, there's a guy over at hybridZ selling 16x8 watanabe for $1500. I figure if you get a new set of rotas for~600-700 and buy tires, it'll come out to almost the same price, maybe a bit less. http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php?/topic/89316-garage-sale/
Jeffrey Posted March 5, 2010 Share #35 Posted March 5, 2010 I love my Rota RB's. They 16 inch 4mm offset. Current tires are 225-50-16 but I'm gonna get new 205-55-16 this spring. Should take car of the slight rubbing I'm getting.
d240zx2 Posted March 5, 2010 Author Share #36 Posted March 5, 2010 #35. Have you determined where the rubbing is taking place?
