Still interested and have had many members and friends ask if me and the wife are still going. I'll tell you the same thing I told them.. I'll know more by saturday evening, after the weather man can give a more accurate forecast.

If it will only be breazy, then I'll most likely go, but I'm wearing my CZCC shirt, Hybrid hoody and Carhart denim jacket. And I'm bringing a pot of HOT!! coffee. Last year kinda sucked. It's on the waterfront so a ccold wet breeze is to be expected.

There is one group leaving from Delta Park Oregon at 4:30am and two others leaving from Vancouver Wash later. So there is many of us heading north for the event.

Tony wrote me on Facebook and she said she and her sons were coming up for the event. I think I'll do it just to See everybody.

Me, Leah, Tyler and his friend will be there. I just got off Facebook, telling Tony that we'd be there. Just dress warmly and bring hot coffee. We WILL be there.

From what I can gather, It's supposed to be breezy with slight drizzles or something like that early on then progressively rainier. I will be there but I won't promise how long. Bringing the umbrella as well as a hoody.

From the sounds of things there should be quite a few S30s and other Datsuns attending. This is my first year going but looking at the pictures from past years it looks like there were a few S30s and tons of 510s.

Should be really fun. Dave and I are leaving around 7:30.

That was pretty fun, we got there around 7:40 and Dave took one of the last spots =( before the police allowed us to park two cars per spot. Mine was the primered 280z in the second parking lot.

We had a little sun before it started to rain again. My friend and I left around 11:40 just as it start to pour. And of course my windshield wipers decided to take the day off and not work. So the drive home was an "experience".

All and all it was a pretty fun meet, lots of nice cars, tons of Datsuns, and a little sun.

Wow. Really glad the weather has been this wet around here. Had it been really nice I might have considered making the trip. And judging from the pictures, it would have been a huge waste of my time.

Yup, big waste of time....

Between the Cops "Upholding the law of the land" and plain ol' being stupid, and because of them, the lack of parking. They wouldn't let us double park, like we've done for the last 5+ years!!!!! They were only allowing 1 car per 40 foot long RV parking spot, when we normally park 3 there.

The weather wasn't too bad, it actually held out for a little while. I even saw some blue sky, once..... But I'll be honest with ya, I don't think I'll make the trip again next year. After the Police, crappy weather, lack of decent parking and way too many Turbo Blow-offs (no offence Tyler, I know you love the PSSSSST!!)

I'm seriously thinking of Holding, organizing or something, A Datsun Z, 510 only Meet/Show, at the same time and date as Golden Gardens, in a different location. And I hope all of you who normally attend, or want to attend the Golden gardens meet will come to my event instead. So I'm formally inviting All CZCC members as well as any other Z/510 owners, who'd like to show up, who are tired of the crap normally associated with the Golden Gardens meet.

Got a whole year to plan for it so keep it in mind for next year.
