I have a specific thread in mind, and have tried for the last little bit to find it with no success. Somewhere in it are the details of how to refresh the gearbox, to eliminate "sticky" shifting.

I search and get clutch issues, wierd noise diagnoses, etc. My z has none of these issues, but could certainly make use of anything to freshen up the shifting, as I occasionally have a hard time 'finding' the gears.

I think it involved coming at it from the top-down, through the inner shift boot.

Anyone recognize this thread?
