You nailed it, Steve!-- First thing I thought of was, it looks like the River Fording Kits we used to install on wheeled vehicles in the Army! BTW the little gold Sunny pickup got my attention, but the one that really brought back memories was the little gold 1200 (LB-110) hatch- back, complete w/the license plate. That's what I was looking to buy almost 40 years ago after my Bug got T-boned in an intersection. Alas, I had to "settle" for an orange 240Z instead.
