The platypus-looking Lotus Europa is exactly the kind of oddball foreign car that the Japanese go nuts over. We’ve never see one in the flesh in the US, but we’ve seen several in Nippon. Is that weird?

I love the higher pitched horns. I wish they used these on the American 240z. They sound so cool.

Never see them in the US? At my garage where I keep the Z there is one parked in the next bay.

Great films. I guess the Lotus is the hero?

A couple of things that jumped out at me:

The Z is actually a ZG? The cops used ZGs?

Japanese cops wear helmets in their cars??

My neighbor used have a Europa that just sat in his front yard back in the early 90's.

I used to drive by there, and slow down and look at it in my ZX at the time .

If the neighbor was out there he would never look at me.
