I just acquired a 78 280z coupe with 5 speed. hasn't ran in awhile and it has some rust issues but is repairable. I'm swapping to carbs I got a set of 3 screw su carbs from a 72 240 from the previous owner of the car. Also deleting the random crap related to the fuel injection. The car had a nice large rat nest in it under the false floor behind the seats. Of course some rust to go with the car. floor pan on the passenger side, Drivers rocker panel, rear hatch panel, and left lower fender, and passenger frame rail is the major areas. Some info about me. I now live in Sevierville, Tn. I'm 22 years old Married with kids and I've been a mechanic for a little over 4 years. Haven't figured out why I chose this profession besides being about to work on my own stuff. I've already learned a lot from this forum and will continue too.
