Howdy,

My drivers door on my 1970 z is starting to be pain, and it seems to be getting worse ;-)

I pull open the handle, and sometimes it opens!!! It always works from the inside. Before I tear off the door panel, thought I would get some ideas from you!!!!

Any advice is greatly appreciated!!!

When you pull on the door handle, it activate the push rod, the push rod is adjustable (there is a white plastic nut) by turning the nut. Just re-keyed all my locks and adjusted the push rod today.

Also the handle can be worn down where the rod attaches. If you switch them side to side you can solve your problem.
