so i currently own a cgm 07 sti. i have always wanted a 240z (just like how they look)ok so i got a 72' 240z. i origionally wanted to swap in a ls1 engine or a sr20det. which one would be the easiest/better? and where can i buy the mounts and all that good stuff?

Welcome to the forum. Unfortuately that which you seek is best found at www.hybridz.org. Anyone here will gladly help with questions about original and stock features and common upgrades and problems, but advice on the swapping of drivelines is not a common topic here. I've never been a big fan of the SR in a Z. From an aesthetics standpoint, they look too small in the long engine bay. If I were going with a hybrid swap, I'd run an RB turbo or LSx. An RB25DET with a straight sounds downright awesome.

Personal opinions aside http://www.hybridz.org/ is a great resource and dig through there. There is so much info on performance, tuning, swaps, etc there I hardly even need to post a question
