Driving me crazy figuring out what size it is. 10MM x 1.5 or 1.25?

I think so, yes. I can't recall that Nissan ever used 10 x 1.5, in my experience all 10mm threads are 1.25 pitch.

The bumper bracket bolts are 10 x 1.25.

There are lots of 10 x 1.5 bolts on our S30's, head bolts for starters. And starter bolts! . Think of any others?

Now can anyone name any items on Z's that have a 10mm thread, but have 1.0 mm pitch? There are over 20 that I can think of on every car.

I know that most of the suspension bolts are 10x1.25, which is why I have a box of those left over in the garage.

But the "standard" 10mm thread on the high strength bolts is 1.5 mm. I don't think that I have encountered the 1.0mm thread anywhere yet, but I will take your word for it.

Since only Walter wants to play, here's a hint. They are more of a nut than a bolt.....
