I think red could look very neat with some work equips or dark grey watanabes

Silver is great - lets you show off the surf line being a metallic. You lose that if you go a darker colour. What about a more pewter shade of silver? Or blue shade?

Did the 240k sedan come out black as an original colour and did it have gold striping?

Not according to Official Books/Microfisch.

Was looking at a Datsun colour site and looked to be something like tru blue but not listed for c110. Either way it is pretty eye catching.

I have one with this colour, with a vinyl roof ( sedan )
