Posted May 5, 201014 yr comment_318430 Remember the college days when you were always broke and driving a clunker, (for me it was a 64 VW) , and always drooling over the kool cars saying one day I'm going to have one of those. Well its been 38 years , the kids are grown and gone , and I want a Z car!!!!!!!!!!! So I'm looking and thought I could get alot of good information from this fourm. I did buy a 1980 Triumph Spitfire a couple of years ago that I need to sell first , its not a show car and I'll let it go for 2000.00. The car runs good , I just want something with a little more HP . I'm thinking maybe a 280z . I have always liked the inline six motors. What do you prefer in a Z , carbs of FI , I know the Webber on my Spitfire needs alot of TLC Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/35778-another-new-guy/ Share on other sites
May 5, 201014 yr comment_318460 Welcome to the forums. Carbs have more personality - you'll have a Zenn ownership experience if you get a car with carbs Good luck finding the right Z. That can be half the fun. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/35778-another-new-guy/#findComment-318460 Share on other sites
