Posted May 26, 201014 yr comment_320817 Hey there,How do you remove the radiator fan and fan clutch? I am working on my cars engine and also have a spare engine that I plan to keep for parts. It would take up much less space when disassembled. I haven't seen any obvious bolts that look like they hold it on. Thanks.carl Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/36007-how-to-remove-a-radiator-fan/ Share on other sites
May 26, 201014 yr comment_320819 There are nuts on studs that run through the pulley. Back those off and you can pull it all apart. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/36007-how-to-remove-a-radiator-fan/#findComment-320819 Share on other sites

May 26, 201014 yr comment_320823 I've got to replace my water pump so I will be doing the same darn thing as well. Though hopefully the studs will come out as well. I dont think my new pump has them. May 26, 201014 yr comment_320827 You should be able to get generic replacement studs at most any parts house for just a few cents each. I'd recommend using new ones.
