Zedyone_kenobi Posted May 29, 2010 Share #1 Posted May 29, 2010 I am doing some major garage overhaul, and I thought I would make a mural or a fathead from a photo and put it in my garage. I was wondering if people could send me any super hi res photos 6 MB minimum of any Z pics they have so I can blow them up to at least a 4' x 6' image. My email is sdamico555@gmail.comI got in the mood to paint the entire garage yesterday, then I figured I may as well put of a shelving system, then I may as well hang the bikes, and the list goes on and on. While I am waiting for my transmission and parts to come in so I can do a swap out, I may as well be productive! I must be crazyROFL
cygnusx1 Posted May 29, 2010 Share #2 Posted May 29, 2010 Look in my signature. There are two links to photo galleries to the history of both of my Z's. If you hover the mouse on the photos, there is an option to show the "original" photo which is very high resolution. You may save and print the high res photos....not for resale of course. ;-)

I am a artist you know ! Besides that and I have a bunch of photos of a 240ZG off Gran Tourismo 4 that a photo shoped and did a bunch of cool stuff on I can send you from my photobucket albums. I used to sell them on Ebay. I can get you the original files at home you make 64 by 64 inch Super Hi Res posters out of those . jrecee Posted May 30, 2010 Share #7 Posted May 30, 2010 just a tip:http://www.smugmug.com/help/print-qualitydecent reference for minimum resolutions for certain image sizes. Obviously you can blow it up bigger but if you go bigger than the minimum anything past that will get blurrier.
Smokey Posted May 31, 2010 Share #8 Posted May 31, 2010 You should hire out a photographer to snap pics of your car which can be printed and hung in the garage. That will make it personal to you, and feed into your Z's want to look at itself when resting.I would love to come out and do a photo shoot with your Z, but I am nowhere near Houston. I could get your some tack sharp 17x25" prints though.
Zedyone_kenobi Posted May 31, 2010 Author Share #9 Posted May 31, 2010 That is an option I have considered. I know a few places around me that are sort of secret that I use to shoot my other cars at. I have an 8MB Digital SLR, so I could set something up... What I am finding is I am liking the vintage racing photos more and more. I can take some of the contributions I have received and do some editing (change to black and white and making them look vintage, and presto). I will take some pics of my car though, but it feels like blowing up a pic of my car to hang in front of my car is akin to walking into some-bodies house and seeing a 6 foot painting of the owner. Sort of narcissistic. I cannot believe how great the response has been. I look forward to seeing more pics! Thanks again so much.
steve91tt Posted May 31, 2010 Share #10 Posted May 31, 2010 If you change your mind I'm a photographer and a Z owner in your area. We could meet up and shoot your car. No charge...just fun. I usually shoot people but a Z shoot would be cool. Here is a link to my web site... http://studio979photo.com
Zedyone_kenobi Posted May 31, 2010 Author Share #11 Posted May 31, 2010 wow, Steve, you have a great eye! And your subject matter looks fresh even though I have been to a million weddings. You capture things in a very unique way
steve91tt Posted May 31, 2010 Share #12 Posted May 31, 2010 Thanks man! I've done very little serious car photography but if you want to have fun some afternoon we can break out the camera equipment and snap some pics.
