I am doing some major garage overhaul, and I thought I would make a mural or a fathead from a photo and put it in my garage. I was wondering if people could send me any super hi res photos 6 MB minimum of any Z pics they have so I can blow them up to at least a 4' x 6' image.

I got in the mood to paint the entire garage yesterday, then I figured I may as well put of a shelving system, then I may as well hang the bikes, and the list goes on and on. While I am waiting for my transmission and parts to come in so I can do a swap out, I may as well be productive! I must be crazyROFL

Look in my signature. There are two links to photo galleries to the history of both of my Z's. If you hover the mouse on the photos, there is an option to show the "original" photo which is very high resolution. You may save and print the high res photos....not for resale of course. ;-)

I'm in Dallas right now, if I wasn't on this truck going back to L.A. in the morning I could paint your mural for you. I am a artist you know ! Besides that and I have a bunch of photos of a 240ZG off Gran Tourismo 4 that a photo shoped and did a bunch of cool stuff on I can send you from my photobucket albums. I used to sell them on Ebay. I can get you the original files at home you make 64 by 64 inch Super Hi Res posters out of those .

decent reference for minimum resolutions for certain image sizes. Obviously you can blow it up bigger but if you go bigger than the minimum anything past that will get blurrier.

You should hire out a photographer to snap pics of your car which can be printed and hung in the garage. That will make it personal to you, and feed into your Z's want to look at itself when resting.

I would love to come out and do a photo shoot with your Z, but I am nowhere near Houston. I could get your some tack sharp 17x25" prints though.

That is an option I have considered. I know a few places around me that are sort of secret that I use to shoot my other cars at. I have an 8MB Digital SLR, so I could set something up...

What I am finding is I am liking the vintage racing photos more and more. I can take some of the contributions I have received and do some editing (change to black and white and making them look vintage, and presto). I will take some pics of my car though, but it feels like blowing up a pic of my car to hang in front of my car is akin to walking into some-bodies house and seeing a 6 foot painting of the owner. Sort of narcissistic.
