Hey guys I'm new here and I need some help installing the igniton wire harness on my 1975 280Z it has an l28et motor from an 81. When I bought the car the swap was almst compete but the ignition wire harness was never installed and now I have to install it but have no idea about were the wires that are on the other end go. Please help... the harness is the one with the six pin connector that goes to the ecu....

There is a great thread on hybridz.org about wiring and the L28ET swap, its even specific to the 81 which is slightly unique to the 82/3. Search and yee will find. Good luck!

The thing is I found all kinds of information but they dnt specify were exactly the wires go like the three yellow wires on the six pin haress that goes on the ecu go.....

i installed the harness to the best of my knowledge but it doesnt evenn turn on.. pls put som imput in this guys

The L28 ET uses a totally different and system than a 75. ECCS vs EFI. The wiring is different, the ECU is different, etc. You're going to have to do the research.

yea i know that i have the 81 zxt harness and i already installed the ignition wire harness.. both harnesses are already installed but i didnt get any reponse but i think i forgot to install the wire that goes fi relay now that i think about...

And you have the 81 ZXT ECU?

yea i do i have everything possible to comlpete the swap... just wondering were the ignition relay and inhibitor relay are located.. and the color of the wires ill have to peel off to connect to the ignition... and hopfully b able to start it...
