why dont z's get carbon fiber?

ive seen some 510's with CF hoods and lips but never seen a 240 with anything like that...

Only one guy I know makes real carbon fiber hoods for early Zs. Hiten Patel at little.simba@cox.net. A few EP racers are running his hood and other CF parts. Again, these are real CF parts (not the crap you see on street cars.) His hood, including mounting hardware, weighs six pounds and expect to pay REAL money.

I saw this on the net the other day. It would look out of whack on my car since it is almost dead stock, but it would look awesome on a rb-powered z or any modded one. I would like to see one of you guys buy one. That would be awesome.

Something that I think would be even more awesome is matching carbon fiber ZG flares. I haven't looked into it, but has that been done? :classic:

p.s. Just go to 240z and scroll down. Cann't miss it. CARBON FIBER HOOD! hehehe.

Their are some other things carbon fiber like the vents just aft of the hood, and a whole trunk lid like this one......

All those parts look so awesome. I would love to see a Z with those parts. It would be so much lighter too. Even lighter with perplex windows. The Z would fly. I still want to see those carbon fiber ZG flares. Then the car would be complete.

Holy Begeezuz! If I had a job that paid well I'd deck my Z out with all the CF I could get my hands on! Talk about flying! AND great gas milage probably!:stupid:
