Another of those never seen in the U.S. items.

The parking light switch that mounts on the early 240 console (70 to 71) which operates the separate right and left parking lights (actually that extra bulb in the tail light, and I presume also on the front light), is an enigma to me. I've heard what it does, but I've not located a picture or anyone that can describe it.

If any of you Aussies or U.K. folk have a picture, or better yet a working spare that you would sell, let me know, I'll pay the shipping.

Thanks in advance.

KATS! That is EXACTLY what I've been looking for! I was getting ready to "make" my own from two old defog switches.

How much do you want for it? Can you ship to the U.S.? I'll pay for the shipping, just do not send it Express delivery.

Can you accept either Paypal or would you rather have an International Money order?

Thank you! (Deep Bow)

Wow Enrique!

What a blessing KATSUHIKO has bestowed upon you.

I've been peaking in on your search for something that I thought was an extreamly long shot. And not only did Alan and Kats help you with your endeavor, Kats has come through with flying colors, and he's presented it as a gift! Talk about brothers-in-common!

As for myself, I could only hope to return the favor to people like you and Alan for all the invaluable help and information you all have provided to people like myself and others that you probably don't even know about.

Congradulations!

Merry Christmas to all!

Hi GunnerRob,

Thanks for the nice comments. Its makes it all worthwhile when we see a good result in the end.

I can vouch for Kats and his generosity, as I have personally been on the receiving end of it too. He should should work for the United Nations - we'd have world peace in no time.

Regards,

Alan T.

Kats, you are an exceptional human being.

You and Alan have highlighted in these past few posts how valuable this type of world wide interaction is. Alan's knowledge on the Z car is encyclopaedic and your input from Japan gives those of us in the U.S. a glimpse of a whole world we sometimes, unwittingly, ignore.

Kats, since you have and, I presume, are restoring a LHD Z, if there are items from the U.S. that would make your project go a bit easier, please let me know as I will be indebted to you, and would like to reciprocate in kind.

I'll reply to your mail with my address and information. Let me know how much the shipping is, and I'll reimburse you via PayPal. Also let me know what the PayPal Fee is and I'll include that in my transfer.

 I just love a happy ending!

Sure is nice to know that there are still some really nice people out there (here) who will share their good fortune.

Katz you are to be commended.

Also, Alan T was most helpful as well, with his amazing wealth of information and efforts to document the issue.

You guys exemplify the spirit of helpfulness that makes this club the best.

Thanks to MIKE also for creating, and supporting this invaluable resource for the Z (ZED) community at large.
