Posted June 18, 201014 yr comment_322927 Upon deceleration of my '78 280Z (EFI) the rpm drops past the idle speed of 800 down to around 500 or less, sometimes stalling. I currently have to keep my idle speed set around 900 rps for it to not stall. Anyone have an idea why this is happening? June 18, 201014 yr comment_322929 Many things can cause that. Vacuum leaks, bad BCDD, bad altitude switch (Cali cars), bad EGR, etc. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/36233-drop-below-idle-speed-on-decel/#findComment-322929 Share on other sites
