June 20, 201014 yr comment_323075 If I jsut wasn't having to save for a wedding right now I would be there as soon as I had some days off. I agree with expanding your sales market because one like yours around here would be at least another 1-2K easily. -Eric Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/36242-zcar-sales-whats-it-really-worth/?&page=2#findComment-323075 Share on other sites
June 20, 201014 yr comment_323081 That is a great price for that car Dave, I looked at a number of cars in the price range that were a whole lot worse than yours. I don't think you'll have any trouble selling it. I missed seeing it at Canby as we had to leave before you got there. June 20, 201014 yr Author comment_323089 I don't do eBay. Plain and simple. I'll buy parts from there but won't buy or sell cars on eBay. Just not my thing.I've chosen to sell the 72' on a Classic Datsun Related site to keep the idiots at bay. Meaning I'm keeping it in an area that is more likely to attract people of a higher Caliber and appreciation for Datsuns in General.I've already had a hit on it. found out when I got home from the BBQ for my sons Graduation. He'd like to see some under carriage pics and such. So we'll see how it goes. Not getting my hopes up as I hate to see her go and it's only the first "Hit" on the Ad.Dave Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/36242-zcar-sales-whats-it-really-worth/?&page=2#findComment-323089 Share on other sites
June 20, 201014 yr comment_323090 I don't think I'd trust ebay car sales either unless you've got every possible pitfall covered. CL is a little iffy too but I bought my car through a CL ad so obviously it works well at times. If it was a 280 I'd be interested. I'm thinking I'll sell my 240 and get a 280. I think a 280 is more suitable for me. Congrats on the new grad! June 20, 201014 yr comment_323133 The Whole car was "TUFF KOTE DINOL" coated at some point It's a spray on Tar Barrier that prevents air and moisture from rusting panels. The Sticker is still in the back window and TCD yellow body plugs are present throughout the car (Hatch, rear quarters, doors, doglegs, front fenders, underside of hood, etc, etc.Curious about this tuff kote job. Is it in the rocker and in the rear fender well behind the doglog? If so, the shell is probably in real good shapeAll true. I could go out and find a real good hood, maybe even get REAL lucky and find one with a decent or great 113 Green metalic paint job on it. I'm shooting 113 hopefully real soon. Love that color Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/36242-zcar-sales-whats-it-really-worth/?&page=2#findComment-323133 Share on other sites
June 21, 201014 yr Author comment_323143 It's almost everywhere. It'sprayed into......The inner hatch and up into the tube frame of the hatchThe rear quarter panels, over the wheel wells and in the DoglegsThe rockersInside the doorsthe undercarriageThe inner wheel wells, front and rearThe inner fender area (drilled from where the hood almost touches the fenders)The Tranny well and engine bay frame rail area'sThe inner floorboards were sprayed on top of the OEM sound deadener, but I had to remove the SD to treat the rust on the floorboards. Then I covered the floors from the firewall to the riser 12" behind the seats.Found their website... http://www.tuffi.com.sg/clad_kote.html Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/36242-zcar-sales-whats-it-really-worth/?&page=2#findComment-323143 Share on other sites
