Hello Z forum. I took on the refurbishment of my beloved Z clock that has not work in some years. I found the root cause, the very tiny pickle fork springs that rest on the pendulum shaft was broken on one of them. From inside the casing I found the small broken off fingers and tried to solder them back on. Ha, ya right! Would anyone know where one would obtain a pendulum casing?

cheers,

Christopher

I purchased another used clock from a wreck, removed the small white box, which for all intense purposes I'm calling the accutron, and replaced it into my clock. Sprayed silicon lubricate inside the gears, and gently blew away excess. It powered up fine and is ticking away perfectly.
