Posted June 24, 201014 yr comment_323614 brother is trading in his 94 ford pu. he said i could have the gas ( about $100 ) if i siphon it out. is there going to be a problem doing this? is there a anti roll over or theft value? i got one of those siphn units at the dollar store, u know the one with a red plastic pump. looks like i need more hose though. June 24, 201014 yr comment_323615 Sorry, don't know on the 94 ford, but i just got shivers with the flashback to the '70's oil shortages. Had to "suck the straw" a few times between the cars I owned to have enough for travel to work. June 25, 201014 yr comment_323631 Nice to know they sell siphon kits at the "Dollar Store". I would imagine they have the largest customer base that would need them.Back to your question, get a large funnel and a short, squat gas can and drop the bolt from underneath the tank. I know my Ford truck has some type of anti-theft device in it, thank God. Trucks are easy targets for losers....
