Im getting rid of the smog equipment and only thing between happines and total frustration is that darn tube. I've tried CRC Rost Flash (instant freeze anti-rust removal spray) and i've tried torching them but they just wont move..On or off the car? July 8, 201014 yr comment_324718 I like my set of gear wrenches I got at Sears. They offer fine indexing and a relatively small head. One thing of note, any indexing boxed end wrench will be bulkier than a non indexing boxed end wrench. Meaning it may not fit into some areas you would would like it to fit. I would get a set of gear wrenches for sure, but also a good set of slim boxed end wrenches available. Do not skimp on tools. They make the job easier, and the better the tools the more joy you will gain from working on your car? July 8, 201014 yr comment_324736 Look for what is called a "wobble" extension for your socket/ratchet set. It allows minor deflection in the extension between socket and ratchet, and is not as aggravating as a universal joint. I found it to be very useful for the manifolds, especially on the fuel injected cars.
