The site went down the evening of 7/10 due to insufficient disk space. It wasn't able to start the database server. The insufficient space was caused by a backup process I started to store our files on an offsite location. Using Plesk's backup tool, the utility decided to store all of its files locally before making a transfer to the offsite storage facility. In order to take advantage of this utility, I will need to either change the storage location to an external storage drive, or make more room on the root partition.

Hey Mike,

Take a look at Superflexible File Synchronizer. I swear by this at work, and we use daily it to move TB's of files around 700 servers. But the price tag fits in the home budget. http://www.superflexible.com/ Works great for multi-server farms, real-time syncs, log shipping etc. I think you can get a free trial.

This will remove any need for extra local storage.
