Rear Transverse Link Mount

That is the front diff mount. Any year will work (70-78). The late 260 to 280 are slightly different in the strength of the unit (more steel reinforcing) and a larger radius to the exhaust pipe clearance curve on the drivers side of it.

Great time to get Zs-ondabrain's R/T diff mount too if you're not already on the list.

Makes me wonder what busted it. I'd look very carefully at the body shell and the rest of the suspension. Something really whacked it to do that much carnage.

I also have a R200 in my '72 with the stock mount.

Wow, that looks nasty.

Looks like a crack is beginning on the opposite outboard side too.

Piece doesn't look that rusted, and not bent from someone trying to forcibly remove.

Metal fatigue? I don't know but I'd be curious to find out what caused it.

That mount looks like it has suffered the kind of metal fatigue damage found in extremely cold climates, not California. I agree with Bart, it would be a good idea to give it a good look-over for other damage or loose parts that could have contributed to this.
