Posted July 23, 201014 yr comment_326296 Lucked out and was able to pick this up last weekend. Same owner since 72 and has been in storage for fifteen years. Owner claims that is was never a daily driver and that the 92K on the odo is correct. Body is great, floors and rails will need to be replaced. Car was originally white with the blue interior but the PO changed it to the orange with a tan interior in the late seventies and had fiberglass fenders installed. Also included were a set of fiberglass rear quarter repair panels that he never used. To be completely fair the camera makes it look better than it really is but overall the body is in good shape. Here is a quick iPhone shot from when I picked it up. The gentleman in the background is the previous owner taking a few last snapshots before it left. July 23, 201014 yr comment_326313 I saw that on craigslist-500$ I think someone should call the police. Congrats. If I didn't have a garage full now I would have been interested. July 24, 201014 yr Author comment_326324 That's pretty, I like it. VIN not too far from mine. I am curious to know what you paid. Madkaw is correct about the price at $500. :surprised It hasn't been started for a roughly a decade so there will be some work involved just to get it started and there is a fair amount of underbody rust to deal with. Even with the work it needs I also think he was right that it was a steal! Carl you have a PM. July 24, 201014 yr comment_326345 Hopefully Todd you will have the same luck i had with this 71 i worked on a year ago that hadn't been running in over 15 years. The car ran good and the compression came up nicely after running for a while-these are great motors. Are you in Bloomington?
