August 7, 201014 yr comment_327495 True for the LHD version. The RHD drive version is Dave's own design and looks promising. He's not in production yet and just got his web sites up and running. FYI... he has a long Nissan racing history especially in Super Touring: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/36599-who-makes-the-best-header/?&page=3#findComment-327495 Share on other sites
August 18, 201014 yr comment_328286 Hi Rick,I believe the Clifford header is the same as the Datsun Comp header mentioned by Conedodger in post #2 above. Here is an old thread that discusses them http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32243. -MikeSame here, Mike, great to meet you and to talk to you in person. That was probably the highlight of the Convention/Show for me, meeting youand several others who had previously just been names in print on a screen. Now I know y'all are REAL PEOPLE! LOLLOLI flipped over to the reference you provided, and sho' nuff, that looks to bethe same critter. I had forgotten whether it had been in the Bob Sharp or the Comp Dept catalogue, or whether we just got it directly from Clifford.Being with Sharp at the time, it could have been any of those. BTW the downside of the over-and-under arrangement at the rear is that if your caris lowered at all, it is easy to find places to scuff the lower extension.Don't read any farther unless you are very brave; this is going to KILL you!I just looked into the file on the '70 car. In Apr 76 (at my price) the wholesystem cost me right at $250 installed! It sounds dirt cheap now, but it was about 2 weeks' pay at the time!FWIW,.............All Z Best,...................Kathy & Rick Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/36599-who-makes-the-best-header/?&page=3#findComment-328286 Share on other sites

August 23, 201014 yr comment_328711 Bear in mind, that the header should be tailored to a specific engine spec, and as the original poster has a 2.4, (and stock?) a couple suggested could have too large primaries, and could/will loose horsepower. e.g. 1 3/4" far too big.
