July 30, 201014 yr comment_326846 What kind of sound? If it's a grinding sound it could be a bad tooth on the starter, or worse, a broken tooth on the fly-wheel. August 6, 201014 yr comment_327432 Marco, first search for forums for solutions, then if that doesnt help after a thurough search, make your own post, this thread has to do with starters making noise not changing a starter and now not starting. October 15, 201014 yr comment_333515 A fully charged battery is not necessarily a healthy battery. A battery can hold a static 12.8V charge, but if it drops below 10.0V with the starter engaged, you will get the clicking you described. October 16, 201014 yr comment_333570 that "tic" sound is the solenoid popping out, so you know that works, double check you're conections to the starter and test them with a meter. Or try running a wire from the positive terminal to the motor terminal and see if it turns. Anyhow it could be any number of things, bad relay ect. hope this helps, but you need to do more testing. October 24, 201014 yr comment_334227 Also a charged battery may not put out the amps you need to crank over if it is worn out. I'd check the connections are clean especially the battery terminals, and free of corrosion. Take the battery to get tested its free at most auto-part stores even Wall Mart does testing. If you get a new battery have the alternator tested when she is running again, these thing like to go in pairs. October 24, 201014 yr comment_334254 Even though your battery is fully charged, you can still get a click from the starter when the solenoid is worn out. The contacts get burnt out.
